The 2012 Truck Driver Social Media Convention was the second annual national gathering designed to unite truck drivers, industry stakeholders, advocates, and organizations through the power of social media. Held October 27-28, 2012 at Harrah’s Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri, the event built on the success of its inaugural 2011 meeting in Tunica, Mississippi. Its mission was to encourage trust, transparency, and transformation within the trucking community while addressing the most pressing industry issues, health, training, law, advocacy, and public image.
