Join the Team at Deaf Truckers United!

Hello everyone,


Deaf Truckers United is growing, and we are looking for passionate, motivated individuals to join our team! As a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering Deaf truckers, we rely on committed volunteers and leaders to help us achieve our mission.


We are currently accepting applications for several key volunteer positions. These roles are designed to strengthen our leadership, improve communication within our community, and expand our reach to better serve our members.


Open Positions:

  • Member-at-Large - Serve as a representative of the general membership, providing valuable input on decisions that impact the organization. Act as a voice for the community and help guide the direction of Deaf Truckers United. (This position has been filled; an official announcement will be made soon.)
  • Secretary - Maintain official records, meeting minutes, correspondence, and organizational documents. Ensure accurate documentation and smooth administrative operations. (This position is currently open.)
  • Director of Social Media - Oversee and support the organization’s social media initiatives by developing vlogs, coordinating post schedules, and engaging with the online community. Work closely with leadership to enhance and promote the organization’s message. (This position is currently available.)
  • Social Media Coordinator - Assist in executing the organization’s social media strategies by creating vlogs, scheduling posts, and interacting with the online community. Collaborate with leadership and the Director of Social Media to strengthen the organization’s outreach and visibility. (This position has been filled; an official announcement will be made soon.)
  • Trustee - Serve on the board to provide oversight, strategic guidance, and support for organizational initiatives. Assist in maintaining accountability and promoting the long-term success of Deaf Truckers United. (This position has been filled; an official announcement will be made soon.)
  • Director of Digital Communications - Lead the development and management of digital communication strategies, including newsletters, website updates, and online content. Keep members informed and connected through well-coordinated digital initiatives. (This position has been filled; an official announcement will be made soon.)
  • Sergeant-at-Arms - Maintain order during meetings, ensure adherence to organizational rules, and support the board in upholding proper procedures, safety standards, and a respectful, harassment-free environment for all members. This role also includes assisting in the development and enforcement of organizational bylaws. (This position is currently available.)
